Front Desk Staff / Chiropractic Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Staff / Chiropractic Assistant to join our office! Duties

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage patient intake, verify insurance coverage, and perform insurance verification using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software
• Assist chiropractor by placing patients on therapies
• Maintain and update patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Assist with documentation review, medical coding billing processes, and medical collection procedures to support accurate revenue cycle management
• Handle administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), faxing, mailing, and managing office supplies
• Support clinic operations by managing front desk activities like answering phones, managing appointment reminders, and ensuring a clean, organized office

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly preferred; chiropractic clinic is a plus
• Strong knowledge of medical billing
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Excellent computer skills
• Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in office management tasks
• Prior front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare environment is desired
