Front Desk Staff/ host

Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude upon arrival and departure, providing exceptional customer service.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guest inquiries efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Handle phone calls with professional phone etiquette, answering questions and directing guests appropriately.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff or hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
• Address guest concerns or complaints with patience and professionalism, striving for quick resolution.
• Support other hospitality functions such as serving guests or assisting with special events when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience working in restaurants or hotels is advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest relations best practices.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional phone etiquette and a friendly demeanor are essential.
