LUX Dental is a new modern PPO and Medicare dental office seeking an experienced Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone professional, organized, personable, and experienced in dental insurance and patient communication. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming patient experience while keeping the schedule and front office running efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years dental front desk experience
- Bilingual required (English/Spanish)
- Experience with PPO and Medicare dental insurance verification(Weave)
- Experience with treatment planning
- Knowledge of Open Dental software required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable and able to work Saturdays
- Team player mentality is a MUST
Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out
- Verify PPO and Medicare dental insurance benefits(Weave & Portals)
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Answer phones professionally
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Help create a warm, organized, luxury patient experience

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and providing information with excellent phone etiquette
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using office management software Weave, and Google Workspace tools
- Maintain accurate patient records through data entry, filing, and updating electronic health records
- Assist with patient inquiries by providing clear information about treatments, insurance, and billing processes
- Coordinate treatment plans by communicating effectively with patients and clinical staff to ensure seamless care delivery
- Enter into Open Dental Insurance Checks & File claims Through Claim Connect
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front desk or office management roles within a dental setting
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual abilities are required to serve a diverse patient population effectively
- Demonstrated customer service excellence with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Clerical experience involving appointment scheduling, filing, and administrative support
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities simultaneously
