Are you passionate about helping people and Pets? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same? Hannah Pet Hospital is seeking dynamic and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Member Advocate & or Service Coordinator.
This unique hybrid role combines front-line Member support with in-hospital service coordination, ensuring our Members and their beloved Pets receive an exceptional experience from start to finish.
What You’ll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for our Members—whether in person, by phone, or email—with a warm, solution-focused attitude.
- Schedule appointments, triage medical concerns, and ensure accurate information is communicated to the medical team.
- Educate Members on preventative care and hospital services while promoting wellness plans and membership benefits.
- Resolve billing issues, process reimbursements, and follow up on declined payments with empathy and accuracy.
- Assist incoming and outgoing Members at our hospital locations, ensuring smooth check-in/out and accurate invoicing.
- Support Member retention by addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and preventing cancellations with professionalism.
- Maintain a compassionate and calm demeanor when discussing sensitive topics like Pet illness, loss, or financial hardship.
- Ensure an efficient, welcoming hospital environment by managing workflows and collaborating closely with doctors and nurses.
- Support inventory sales and prescription dispensing per doctor instructions.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of customer service experience; experience in veterinary, healthcare, or call center settings is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills.
- Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Comfort around dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to type at least 50 WPM.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and handle physical activity in a hospital environment.
