We are seeking highly skilled Frontend Engineers who are passionate about building world-class user experiences, deeply grounded in modern web technologies, and capable of solving complex problems at scale. Selected candidates will be prepared for GoJek-level interviews, focusing on frontend fundamentals, problem-solving, and production-grade coding practices.

Role & Responsibilities

Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using JavaScript (ES2020+), React, or Vue.

Implement clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.

Build reusable UI components with a strong focus on accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Demonstrate awareness of deployment pipelines, debugging strategies, and production-grade delivery practices.

Communicate effectively, take feedback constructively, and exhibit strong coachability.

Key Skills & Competencies

Core Frontend Fundamentals

Deep understanding of HTML5 semantic elements and their role in accessibility & SEO.

Mastery of CSS3 including the box model, responsive layouts, and modern layout techniques (Flexbox, Grid).

Solid understanding of JavaScript ES6+ concepts: closures, event loop, promises, async/await, hoisting, var/let/const.

React Ecosystem

State management (local, global, derived state).

Hooks (useState, useEffect, useMemo, custom hooks) and lifecycle awareness.

Virtual DOM, reconciliation, and optimization techniques.

Controlled vs uncontrolled components.

Debugging and performance profiling in React.

Modern Frontend Landscape

Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and why they matter.

Code quality & consistency with ESLint, Prettier.

Performance considerations in large-scale applications.

Infra & Deployment Awareness

Understanding differences between development and production builds.

Deployment strategies for React apps on Vercel, Netlify, AWS S3 + CloudFront.

Source maps, error tracking, and debugging strategies in production.

Communication & Coachability

Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Clear, concise, and collaborative communication.

Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
