DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Application Delivery: Build and launch the mobile application for both iOS and Android—from core architecture decisions down to final App Store and Google Play Store submissions.
• UI/UX Engineering: Implement the exact specifications of the design system provided by the product designer, transforming them into a clean, highly reusable custom component library.
• AI Feature Integration: Integrate the project’s core feature: an AI Coach powered by an LLM conversational interface (including streaming responses and voice capabilities where applicable).
• Core Mobile Workflows: Wire up secure authentication, in-app subscriptions (StoreKit / Google Play Billing), push notifications, analytics tracking, and backend REST APIs.
• Bilingual Arabic/English Infrastructure: Build out localized support with flawless Right-to-Left (RTL) handling. Note: This is a core requirement from day one, not a secondary translation pass.
• Quality & Performance Control: Maintain accessibility targets (WCAG AA), complete dark mode parity, and robust offline-friendly behaviors. Own QA testing on real devices and handle bug-fixing through the initial launch warranty window.

Requirements:

• Proven Track Record: 3+ years of professional experience building production mobile applications that are currently active in the App Store and Play Store.
• Framework Mastery: Strong proficiency in a cross-platform framework (Flutter or React Native) OR deep competence in native development for both platforms (Swift/SwiftUI + Kotlin/Jetpack Compose). Candidates must be prepared to articulate their framework choice for this project during the technical interview.
• Advanced Integration Experience: Hands-on experience implementing REST APIs, user authentication protocols, push notification services, and local caching/state management.
• E-Commerce/FinTech Core Capabilities: Prior experience successfully configuring native in-app subscriptions and payment gateways (StoreKit/Google Play Billing).
• Engineering Discipline: High Git fluency, clean commit histories, and the code hygiene required to write readable, scalable software.
• Communication: Highly professional written and spoken English communication skills, as the majority of asynchronous project collaboration takes place in writing.

Nice-to-Have (Highly Valued Assets):

• Native Arabic/RTL Expertise: Direct experience building top-tier Arabic mobile applications with native layout adjustments for RTL.
• AI/LLM API Implementation: Practical experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalent API endpoints (managing conversation states, token streaming, etc.).
• Modern Backend Ecosystems: Familiarity with BaaS platforms such as Firebase or Supabase.
• Polished Micro-Interactions: Familiarity with Lottie animations and building motion-rich, fluid user interfaces.
• Domain Context: Previous development experience within the Health, Wellness, or Faith/Mindfulness app sectors.

Compensation & Work Environment:

• Location: Remote (Egypt based)
• Budget: TBD
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM KSA time) + 4 flexible hours on Sunday.
