Job Overview

• Pay: $23 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
• Job Type: Full-Time | Home Daily
• Equipment: Commercial Front-Load Trucks
• Routes: Commercial & Residential — Metro Detroit Area
• Year-Round Work | Overtime Opportunities Available

Responsibilities

• Operate front loader trucks safely and efficiently to load, transport, and unload waste materials from designated customer locations
• Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• Clean driving record — no DUI or license suspensions within the last 5 years
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and up to 300 lbs occasionally
• Ability to maneuver truck in tight spaces and perform skilled backing
• Familiarity with GPS systems and route navigation
• Ability to identify and handle unacceptable waste (hazardous/flammable materials)
• Must successfully complete pre-employment testing

Experience

• Minimum 2 year of commercial driving experience
• Proven experience operating various types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, tractor-trailer, or flatbed vehicles
• Mechanical knowledge related to truck maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience in heavy lifting and physically demanding roles within waste management or transportation industries
• Delivery driver experience with a focus on safe driving practices in local routes

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
