Front Load Garbage Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Front Load Trash Truck Driver to join our dynamic waste management team. We are looking for experienced Trash Drivers. In this role, you will operate specialized front loader trucks to efficiently collect and transport waste materials from commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely, and environmentally responsible waste collection while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties

• Safely operate front loader trucks, ensuring proper loading and unloading of waste containers
• Load and unload waste materials with precision, adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition
• Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, loads, and service reports for accountability and compliance purposes
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate pickups and address any issues promptly
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks if necessary to support efficient waste collection operations

Skills

• Experience in commercial driving, especially with front load trash trucks
• Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles
• Ability to load & unload waste containers safely using front loader mechanisms
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
• Physical strength for lifting tasks associated with waste collection equipment and containers
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and waste management practices
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
