Job Summary
Whats up people, I am deleting the AI summary and just want to be straight forward with what I am looking for. We are looking for people with service industry experience at a restaurant but more importantly just individuals with a good vibe. This will be our second location with our first being in San Clemente. Please let me know if you have been into our location in SC, that way I can understand that you get the vibe we are looking for with seeing first hand the type of people I have already hired.

It's pretty straight forward stuff that comes with front of house work, be upbeat, have a personality that locals and tourists can relate to and speak with, understand how to make customers feel comfortable and enticed to try the smash burgers that are served along side understanding how to up sell our menu. Our food menu is very basic and will come easily to anyone that has experience in the industry with minimal training. Be clean oriented to keep the place looking nice and presentable, do not be flake and communicate with me at all stages to make both of our lives easier, on-top of your co-workers. This is not a full service restaurant with table service so it will be a job where you are at the front counter and register most of the time with the occasional lending hand to make sure that trash is picked up, trash cans are emptied and tables are cleaned.

As I have stated, this is the second location and we are planning on opening roughly May 1st. The ideal candidate will be able to work both locations and that would ensure that you have the ability to obtain more hours working.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests and ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Be knowledgeable on the food we serve.
  • Be positive and upbeat while taking food orders.
  • Input orders accurately and pay attention to details
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for customer service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.90 per hour
