Front of House and Back of House Staff

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive, running food, and accurately packing takeout orders
  • Take and process customer orders accurately using theToast POS system, ensuring smooth transactions
  • Assist with food preparation, plating, and basic cooking tasks to support kitchen operations and uphold food quality standards
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent guest relations and communication skills
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and assisting with general restaurant sanitation to meet food safety standards
  • Following recipes accurately for both prep items and food items

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, bartender, cook, or culinary assistant is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Toast POS system enhances efficiency in order processing and cash handling
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, knife skills, orprep demonstrates versatility in back-of-house functions
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary accommodations ensures compliance with health regulations
  • Strong communication skills, phone etiquette, and guest relations experience are essential for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Experience working in restaurant environments or catering settings adds valuable insight into diverse hospitality operations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude is key to thriving in this energetic role
