Front of House Bartender & Service Manage

Job Overview
We are currently seeking out an enthusiastic, outgoing, and experienced manager and bartender to join our team at Coyotes Adobe Cafe. Our main goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable from the moment they enter until they leave. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced and often thrilling environment.

The position available is for our Front of House Service Manager. This position does require the capability of working weekend morning bartending shifts, and capable of covering other bartending and serving shifts, in the event where other bartenders or servers are not unavailable.

Other duties for this position can include the involvement of doing, but not limited to, weekly servers schedules, server training, hiring of servers, having the availability to work different hours, and gaining an understanding and ability into all aspects of our restaurant. We are a local, family-owned restaurant in Springfield, Missouri for 34 years and have been a cornerstone in the community for some time.

Duties

• Happily, greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Prepare food items as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Operate our POS system for processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to customers.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, providing help where needed to enhance their experience.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Experience in food preparation or working in a café or restaurant setting is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations.
• Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A helpful and cheerful attitude towards assisting customers and colleagues alike in achieving a smooth operation.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
