Front of house/ cashier/food runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly front of house staff to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a multi tasker, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers while efficiently handling transactions and assisting with various tasks in the kitchen. Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries about the menu
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and throughout the dining space.
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed.
• Help with food preparation tasks as needed to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with a bright personality, and the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers- must like people, make cocktails and coffee drinks and have fun!
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturday evenings as required by the business needs. Sundays closed.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
