Front of House Host / Order & Cashier

Shaan Indian Cuisine is seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House Host / Order & Cashier to join our team. This position is the face of our restaurant and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and smooth experience for all guests.

We are looking for someone with positive energy, restaurant experience, and strong communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately
• Enter orders into the system and communicate with kitchen staff
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions
• Manage front counter flow and assist customers efficiently
• Ensure accuracy and speed during busy hours
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service

• Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
• Experienced in restaurant or customer service roles
• Responsible, ethical, and trustworthy with money handling
• A strong team player with good communication skills
• Accountable and reliable with attendance and performance
• Able to stay calm and organized during busy periods

Schedule:

• 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• 6–7 days per week (based on business needs)

Compensation:

• Free shared employee housing available (3-person apartment; limited availability)
• Fixed salary or hourly pay based on experience (discussed during interview)
• Complimentary meals provided during both shifts (lunch & dinner)
