The Spoke and The Rec Room are two very fast paced college night clubs in downtown Amherst, MA with vibrant Umass student nightlife. The bars are located next door to each other. We are looking for a Front of House leader to float between both buildings. This is a unique position as we are two different bars with separate staff, however same ownership and operation techniques. We are primarily college bars at night and diverse local hang outs during the day. We only serve alcohol. No food.
We are seeking the right mature individual to work weekends managing the staff and the flow of the establishments. During the week would be light work on a separate small salary to assist our Operations Manager with tasks.
We are 15 heavy weeks on a year following the Umass academic schedules. Weekends are required during this time. We have flexibility during winter break and summers. This full position is difficult to describe on a quick ad. If you'd be interested in hearing more or would like to apply for the position please contact us.
