Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and training new team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage customer interactions to resolve issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation, proper food handling, and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory control for front-of-house supplies such as beverages, utensils, and linens; assist with ordering when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
- Support staff training on food presentation, customer service techniques, and safety procedures to foster a professional team environment.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment with a focus on front-of-house operations.
- Extensive background in food service management including supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining settings with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Prior experience in supervising staff members, conducting interviews, and developing training programs.
- Familiarity with restaurant management tools including budgeting, food production oversight, catering coordination, and event service like banquets or hotel dining.
