Front of House Staff

Job Summary
We are looking for a Front of house Staff member for David's Mai Lai Wah located in Chinatown, Philadelphia. In this role, you will be responsible for Phone orders, take our orders, and seating. The expectation would be to create a welcoming environment and provide customers with a pleasant experience.

We are currently planning on opening our dining room so additional positions, hours, and room for growth are on the table.

We currently have shifts open on:

• Friday: 4PM - 9 PM | 9PM - 2:30 AM
• Saturday: 4PM - 9 PM | 9PM - 2:30 AM
• Sunday: 6PM - 10PM

Duties

• Take accurate phone orders, and answer questions that they may have regarding the menu
• Greet guests upon arrival and show them to their seats
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean environment in the work space
• Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly, adhering to hygiene protocols, and managing dietary restrictions with care
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Preferred skills:

• Experience working in the restaurant industry
• Conversational/fluent in English
• Being able to speak chinese is a major plus

Pay: $12.50 - $18.00 per hour
