Front of House Staff - Server

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen support is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
