Front of House Team Member

Ding How, a famous local Chinese restaurant open for over 40 years, is looking for friendly and efficient Front of House Team Members( Hosts, Cashiers, Togo Packers). We are looking for kind and out-going individuals to join our team. Ding How means "the Best", and we strive as a team to be our very Best all the time!

We are a casual, family-oriented restaurant that strives to provide quick service, but still offer our guests a memorable dining experience and get them to keep coming back to dine with us!

Requirements:

• Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Food Handlers Certification preferred
• Knowledge of the Aloha computer system a bonus
• Some Customer Service skills preferred
• A great attitude and willingness to help a must

Responsibilities:

• Smile and greet customers coming in and seat them to the appropriate sections
• Be willing and able to move up and learn all three responsibilities of the front of house (host, cashier and togo packing)
• Be able to work together with others in order to take care of customer needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: We start at $14 an hour for our FOH team as a base. Tip share for our FOH team usually is about $2-4 an hour on top of your hourly wage. Total effective pay for our FOH team usually runs $16 to $18 a hour.
