Front of House Team Member

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and hospitality while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. We are looking for AM/lunch and PM/dinner servers, and PM/dinner hosts.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance their visit experience
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, process payments, and handle cash with precision
• Assist with food preparation tasks including assembling orders, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and organized
• Support food safety practices by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food responsibly
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing multiple responsibilities

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for retail or food industry transactions
• Experience in customer service roles that require strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols is advantageous
• Restaurant experience or working in a diner setting will support your success in this role
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent service standards
