Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest comfort

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is a plus
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential
