Front of House Team Member at Bailey's Beach Club

Spouting Rock Beach Association (Bailey’s Beach Club) is seeking Front of House Team Members for the summer season. Opportunities are available in our ice cream café, snack bar, and front of house dining operations.

Located in Newport, Bailey’s Beach Club is a private, member-owned family club established in 1897. Our members enjoy exceptional club facilities, breathtaking coastal views, and a rich tradition of excellence. The Club offers daily lunch service at our upscale snack bar and dinner six nights a week. Facilities include a private quarter-mile beach, member cabanas, a swimming pool, two full bars, an ice cream café, and six Har-Tru tennis courts.

The Club operates daily from May 23rd to September 26th, 2026, with seasonal positions available as early as May 18th.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and friendly service to members and guests throughout the Club
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently depending on assigned outlet
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, ice cream, snacks, and beverages based on position
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards in all service areas
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to deliver a high-quality member experience

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods
• Willingness to learn multiple front of house roles and responsibilities
• Availability to work weekends and holidays during the summer season
