Front of House Team Member (Cashier & Guest Service)

Rice Thai Cuisine – Billings, MT

Pay: $12–$15/hour + Tip Pool (DOE)

Rice Thai Cuisine is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our Billings location.

This is a counter-service restaurant position, not a traditional server role. Team members help guests, take orders, deliver food, package takeout orders, maintain cleanliness, and support daily restaurant operations.

Available Shifts

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Day Shift (Opening)
• Evening Shift (Closing)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
• Take orders and process payments accurately
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Deliver food to guest tables
• Package takeout and delivery orders
• Maintain dining room, cashier area, service stations, and restrooms
• Restock front-of-house supplies
• Assist with dishwashing and other support tasks as needed
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Count cash drawer and complete shift close-outs

Please Note: Many shifts are operated by a single front-of-house team member. We are looking for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and successfully manage multiple responsibilities throughout the shift.

Restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
