Front of House/Bar Manager
The FOH/Bar Manager supports and directs the Management Teams in assigned restaurant through role-model leadership of the Company’s Core Values. They maintain restaurant Consistency by assisting in managing overall operations for the restaurant by focusing on Systems, Guest Count/Value, People, and EBITDA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages restaurant operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
- Manages the business aspect of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking and tracking inventory, and reordering supplies.
- Promotes and complies with implemented programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
- Provides direction and structure for hourly Team Members based off of General Manager’s guidelines.
- Hire, train, and oversee bar team members.
- Implements improves processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
- Identifies any operational issues and gives timely feedback to the team so they can impact the operational opportunities.
- Validates and teaches all brand systems to Team Members so they may achieve Company goals.
- Follows and promotes all operational goals and follow-up plans set forth by the General Manager.
- Achieves budgeted goals for each accounting period.
- Ensures Guests receive fresh, high-quality food and drinks, and outstanding service according to brand standards.
- Assists Management team with Local Store Marketing initiatives to increase guest counts.
- Help plan and take part in promotional events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in restaurant management.
- Must have proven experience as an accomplished mixologist.
- Must have Food Handler certification in respective state.
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to cope with pressure, multiple deadlines, and working under pressure.
- Ability to develop high-performing, cohesive teams.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow Team Members.
- Must be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with all Team Members.
