FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM MEMBER
We are currently hiring for Front of the House positions at HiroNori Craft Ramen located in Chino CA. Come join our team and become a part of this progressive, fun restaurant!

Position Overview

Front of House (FOH) Team Members are cross-trained and expected to demonstrate strong performance in all front-of-house roles before advancing to a SERVER position. This structured progression ensures consistency, accountability, and a team-first environment. All new hires begin in an entry-level, non-server role and may transition into a SERVER position based on performance, reliability, and mastery of core FOH responsibilities.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experience levels. While prior restaurant experience and strong qualifications are preferred, we are open to hiring motivated individuals who demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Ideal candidates are personable, detail-oriented, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a committed team. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as is availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Training will be provided for those without prior experience. Tattoos are welcome, and we value professionalism, positive energy, and good vibes.

Front of the House Roles & Responsibilities

Cashier

• Greet guests and process in-house and takeout orders accurately
• Answer phone calls and take phone orders professionally
• Drop off checks to tables and assist servers with guest payments
• Help servers close out and pay out tables efficiently
• Organize and hand out takeout orders with accuracy and care

Host / Hostess

• Greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
• Manage and communicate wait times clearly
• Maintain and organize the waitlist during peak hours
• Set, reset, and clean tables promptly to support smooth service flow

Expo

• Restock sauces, utensils, and supplies for dine-in and takeout
• Pack takeout orders accurately and efficiently
• Stage and organize dine-in food at the service window for servers
• Act as a key support role to ensure food quality and timing

Server

• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately
• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service
• Maintain section cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Uphold all service standards and teamwork expectations

Growth & Advancement

• All new hires begin in entry-level FOH roles
• Team members must excel in all FOH positions before promotion to Server
• High-performing servers may be promoted to Lead Server
• We prioritize internal promotions and long-term team development

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Punctuality and reliability are required
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior restaurant experience is a plus, but training is provided

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on role and experience)
