PBACO is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily administrative and operational functions. This role is ideal for an organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial healthcare environment. The Office Assistant will provide front office support, coordinate administrative workflows, and assist leadership and team members with day-to-day operational needs.

This is a hands-on role requiring professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Administrative Support - As our Office Assistant, you'll be a core part of the team:

  • Be the face of the office — greeting visitors and handling calls and emails professionally
  • Keep leadership organized by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating conference room logistics
  • Prepare meeting spaces for external visitors, including materials, tech setup, and refreshments
  • Support the team with data entry, document prep, and reporting
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) and keep office and breakroom supplies stocked
  • Jump in on special projects and cross-functional initiatives as they come up
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in college (any major welcome — business, health, communications, and similar fields are a natural fit)
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Organized, dependable, and good with details
  • Strong communicator — in writing and in person
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior office, customer service, or campus organization experience is a plus, but not required
