Front Office & Clinical Assistant

Family Acupuncture Maryland (FAM) is a growing acupuncture practice in Columbia, MD that supports the health & wellness of the people of Howard County and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for a Rockstar Clinical Assistant to support a growing, multifaceted, patient-centered integrative medicine office.

The tasks and responsibilities of this position will vary from week to week and can involve everything from answering the phone, assisting in hands-on patient care to posting on social media and vacuuming. Your vocabulary doesn’t include “that is not my job.”

You should be a skilled and adaptable problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is autonomous, can follow directions with ease and might be considered a jack/jill-of-all-trades as this role and its tasks are ever-changing. You love the telephone and find real joy in laughing and socializing with patients, making them feel like the only person in the room. You are authentic, outgoing, good with adults & kids, and ready to commit for the long haul.

·12-24 hours per week with major holidays off (rare weekend commitments when we are present at community events.)

· 30, 60 and 90 day reviews with performance-based raises.

· Starting pay: $18-22/hour.
