Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, warm, and organized individual to serve as our Front Office cum Student Counsellor. This dual role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be the first point of contact for visitors and parents, as well as a trusted support system for students needing emotional or academic guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Office Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents courteously.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently.
- Manage the reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Maintain and update school records and databases.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules as directed.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and correspondence.
- Handle student attendance and late arrivals as per school policy.
- Support the admissions team during enrollment periods.
Student Counselling Duties:
- Provide emotional, academic, and behavioral support to students as needed.
- Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to help students overcome personal or academic challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling interactions.
- Work closely with teachers and parents to support student development.
- Create awareness and preventive programs related to mental health, bullying, stress management, etc.
- Keep records of counseling sessions and student progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Prior experience in school counseling and front office administration preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office and basic school management software.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Fluency in English,Hindi,Tamil.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Patience, empathy, and a student-centered approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary : 18000 to 22000

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Medavakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
