Position: Front Office Duty Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a Front Office Duty Manager who can perform the below task
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Front Office in a proactive and efficient manner.
- Support and assist all Front Office sections including Reception, Concierge, and Guest Relations.
- Ensure fire exits and emergency routes are clear, in line with Health & Safety policies.
- Deliver prompt, courteous service and personal recognition to all guests; resolve guest concerns effectively.
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and Butler services to coordinate guest-related matters.
- Review daily arrival correspondence to anticipate guest needs and ensure personalized service.
- Manage room availability for walk-ins and monitor guest departure schedules.
- Follow up on unresolved room discrepancies with Housekeeping.
- Maintain reservation procedures and handle same-day arrivals efficiently.
- Verify billing instructions, guest credit, and account validity; resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Uphold standards of conduct, grooming, hygiene, and uniform compliance for all Front Office staff.
- Keep departmental records accurate and up to date.
- Promote in-house services and facilities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Respond to operational requests from other departments and assist in emergency procedures.
- Inspect Front and Back of House areas for cleanliness and safety; report issues to relevant departments.
- Conduct daily guestroom inspections.
- Coordinate with Security on relevant matters.
- Handle problematic situations referred by staff or guests.
- Assist with guest accommodation and transportation during overbooking scenarios.
- Personally welcome and bid farewell to VIPs, delegations, and group leaders.
- Relieve Night Manager during off days and vacations.
- Conduct thorough handovers with incoming Assistant Front Office Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2 years as Front Desk Duty Manager in a hotel/hospitality industry
- Good command of the English language written and spoken. Other foreign languages (spoken) an advantage
- Good computer skills
- With pleasing personality
