Job Description:

At Retaj Hotels, the Front Office / Guest Service Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact for hotel guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Core responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome

Handle check-in and check-out procedures

Manage room reservations and booking systems

Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries

Provide information about:

Hotel facilities

Services

Local attractions

Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for:

Room readiness

Guest requests

Handle complaints and guest issues professionally

Maintain accurate guest records and billing information

Ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk

Retaj Hotels operates “Islamic hotels,” so service is delivered in a family-friendly, alcohol-free environment

Front office staff are expected to maintain high hospitality and cultural service standards

Skills Required:

Strong communication skills (English required, Arabic is a plus)

Customer service experience (hotel or retail preferred)

Basic computer skills (PMS systems like Opera is a plus)

Professional appearance and calm attitude

Ability to handle shift work (morning/evening/night shifts)
