Job Description
Johnson & Associates is a local CPA firm looking for a detail oriented and energetic individual to fill a Front Office Manager position. We are providing valuable experience and competitive compensation for candidates with a willingness to learn and grow!
Members of the Front office staff are responsible for providing information to clients and staff, which involves answering calls, answering questions, greeting clients, scheduling interviews and collecting information, receiving payments, data entry, maintaining the confidentiality of information, and communicating effectively with clients and the work staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients, control office client flow and receive payments from clients
- Answer inbound telephone calls and schedule client appointments
- Assist with office communications
- Data entry, filing, scanning into accounting system
- Operate general office equipment such as telephones, computers, and printers
- Maintain a tidy work area and front office
- Assist in hiring seasonal Front office help and manage and train seasonal staff
- Assist Payroll and Bookkeeping staff
Qualifications
- QuickBooks and Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
- Excellent reading, writing, verbal, and mathematical abilities
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient keyboarding skills including 10-key (min 40 wpm)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client records
- Ability to work efficiently and problem solve
