We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Front Office Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify appointments, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, medical history, and insurance details with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist healthcare providers by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and supporting minor procedures.
- Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, rescheduling as needed, and coordinating follow-up visits.
- Support clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, performing basic physiology assessments, and understanding anatomy to assist in patient evaluations.
- Maintain organized medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and accurately code diagnoses using ICD coding standards.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous clinic or hospital experience in outpatient or inpatient settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Otolaryngology is advantageous.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support practices is essential.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medication protocols is necessary for effective support roles.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
