- Ensure a warm and professional welcome for all guests upon arrival.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest feedback and work with the team to improve service standards.
- Supervise and support front desk agents, bell staff, and concierge team in their daily duties.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff coverage to ensure smooth front office operations at all times.
- Oversee check-in/check-out procedures and ensure accuracy in billing and reservation records.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all front office activities.
- Verify proper handling of room assignments, keys, and guest confidentiality in accordance with hotel policies.
- Assist the Front Office Manager with daily reports, shift audits, and night audit reviews.
- Maintain proper inventory of supplies and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Ensure proper cash handling and banking procedures are followed.
- Act as a liaison between guests and other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) to resolve issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding guest needs, VIP arrivals, and operational concerns.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations (e.g., fire, security threats) following hotel procedures.
- Ensure front office staff is trained in emergency response and safety procedures.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, encouraging room upgrades and additional services where appropriate.
- Support the revenue management strategies by maximizing room occupancy and average daily rates.
