Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant (Spanish-speaking preferred) to join our Torrance team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and has experience supporting providers in medical dermatology and/or vein treatments. A strong clinical foundation, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Support

• Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories
• Assist providers during dermatology and vein procedures
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
• Perform basic clinical tasks (vitals, wound care, suture removal, etc.)
• Assist with in-office procedures including biopsies, excisions, and vein treatments

Administrative & Coordination

• Assist with documentation and scribing as needed
• Support prescription processing, refills, and prior authorizations
• Coordinate with pharmacies and insurance companies
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Help ensure smooth clinic flow and patient experience

Patient Communication

• Communicate clearly with patients regarding care instructions and follow-ups
• Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) support to enhance patient understanding and comfort

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant (required)
• Spanish-speaking preferred
• Dermatology and/or vein experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with prior authorizations and insurance workflows is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a high-volume clinical setting

Compensation
$24 – $30/hour (depending on experience and certifications)
