Frontend Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Frontend Developer with strong technical skills in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React) and experience with legacy technologies like jQuery and Bootstrap. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design and a passion for transforming Figma or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces. Experience with AG Grid and dashboard UI frameworks (such as Metronic) is a strong plus.

You will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences in data-intensive web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain scalable, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Implement and customize AG Grid for complex data table requirements.
• Use Bootstrap or Metronic to ensure consistent, responsive UIs.
• Maintain and refactor legacy code involving jQuery and Bootstrap as needed.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
  
  

UI/UX Implementation

• Convert wireframes and prototypes (from Figma or Adobe XD) into interactive, pixel-perfect web components.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure feasibility and maintain visual fidelity.
• Provide usability feedback and participate in user testing and feedback loops.
  
  

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and peer mentoring.
• Use modern frontend tooling (npm, Webpack, Git) and testing libraries (e.g., Cypress, Jest, Jasmine).
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proficiency in:
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• Angular or React, along with RxJS, NgRx, Redux, or Context API
• HTML5, CSS3/SASS, Bootstrap, jQuery
• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive UI design.
• Ability to interpret and implement designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working closely with backend teams.
• Proficiency with Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket).
  

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Metronic or similar admin dashboard templates.
• Experience working with AG Grid in large-scale, data-driven applications.
• Performance optimization experience (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting, bundle reduction).
• Testing experience with Cypress, Jest, Jasmine, or similar tools.
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), or micro frontend architecture.
• Exposure to backend fundamentals (Node.js, Express, or Java).
• Ability to create UI/UX designs in Figma — from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and apply them to frontend development decisions.
