Frontend Engineer – React

EagleOwl is a seed-funded, post-revenue start-up that helps increase the profitability of restaurants with our modern technology and actionable insights. Our platform provides restaurateurs complete visibility of their back-end operations and enables them to make data-driven decisions instead of guesswork. We are looking for that skilled React.js Developer to join our front-end development team. If you are ticking away the moments that make up a dull day in a cozy company but have that burning desire to work with (or even curious about) a pack of friendly, hungry and passionate mongrels in a start-up with boundless potential, we would love to meet you. As an early member of EagleOwl family, you'll be challenged to wear multiple hats to delight our customers and take on work that pushes our mission forward. You'll grow as a person and a leader in the field, all the while learning how to scale an early-stage start-up into a thriving company!

What you'll do:

• Build cool user interface components using React JS and workflows like Redux, Flux, and Webpack
• Improve performance of our front-end while documenting what you do without slipping on our sprint plans
• Take ownership of critical outcomes, straddle the boundaries of front-end and bank-end to deliver software experiences/solutions of the highest quality

What we're looking for:

• Only ninjas, maybe rockstars
• Be able to solve all different variants of “binary search trees”-based coding problems without doing a Google search
• Someone who is a 10X engineer and can bullshit to seem smarter
• Be passionate, we mean, must be demonstratively passionate about everything all the time to the point of triggering the insecurities of the founders
