About the Role

The Frontend Interior Designer serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design development phase. The role focuses on client interaction, understanding design requirements, presenting concepts, preparing design documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. This position requires strong communication skills, design knowledge, and the ability to translate client needs into practical design solutions.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering

  • Meet clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Conduct site visits to assess measurements, layout, and project feasibility.
  • Provide expert guidance and design suggestions aligned with the client’s lifestyle and functional requirements.

2. Design Concept Development

  • Prepare design concepts, mood boards, sketches, and material boards.
  • Present design ideas to clients using 2D layouts, 3D visuals, or sample boards (coordinating with the 3D team if required).
  • Ensure concepts meet both aesthetic appeal and practicality.

3. Material & Product Selection

  • Assist clients in selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and décor elements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to present options for laminates, veneers, tiles, lighting, modular furniture, etc.
  • Stay updated on the latest interior trends and materials in the market.

4. Project Coordination

  • Work closely with backend designers, draftsmen, 3D artists, and project managers.
  • Translate client-approved designs into accurate drawings and documentation.
  • Support the execution team by explaining design details and ensuring clarity.

5. Client Presentations & Approvals

  • Conduct design presentations, revisions, and final approvals.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure timely communication.
  • Maintain professionalism and build strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare layouts, BOQs, material lists, and design notes.
  • Keep records of client meetings, requirements, changes, and approvals.
  • Submit weekly updates to management on project progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience as an interior designer, preferably in a client-facing or frontend role.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, color schemes, and space planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle client feedback, and work in coordination with a design team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
