About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Developer (React/Next.js) to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, scalable web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Material UI. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality frontend experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
- Write clean, maintainable code using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Implement UI components and design systems using Material UI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO (Next.js)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices
Must-Have Skills:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with Material UI or similar component libraries
- Deep understanding of responsive design, web performance, and accessibility
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and Agile development practices
- Communication skills
Nice to Have (Optional):
- Experience with SSR and SSG using Next.js
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Experience working with CMS or headless systems (e.g., Contentful, Strapi)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment Azure
