Frontend Web Developer / Software Engineer

iNET Marketing & Web is currently seeking in-house full-time Front-End Developers. We’re looking to expand our team with culture-fit people that have an ownership mindset. As a Front-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for building accessible, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces that bring designs to life and deliver seamless experiences across browsers and devices. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business goals and design mockups into high-quality, scalable websites. *This is an in-office position at our office in Waukesha, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Build semantic, accessible, and maintainable client-side interfaces with HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js
• Accurately convert design mock-ups into functional webpages across multiple devices and browsers
• Collaborate with other front-end developers, back-end developers, graphic artists, and quality assurance specialists in an agile environment
• Coordinate with project managers and technical leads to translate business and user requirements into usable web applications
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines with a detail-oriented mindset
• Review designs and approaches for best practices in UI/UX
• Proactively identify issues before they become a problem and work with project teams and management to help facilitate the best resolution.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of writing semantic, accessible HTML
• Strong knowledge of writing clean, responsive CSS
• Solid understanding of progressive enhancement, responsive design, accessibility and best UX/UI practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot/debug website issues.
• Ability to work within a team environment where design and production are a collaborative effort
• Familiarity with design applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion and self-drive for staying up to date with industry trends and applying innovative best practices
• Strong attention to detail, organized, socially perceptive
• Must have a degree or formal training in Computer Science, Web Development, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of work experience as a Front End Developer or parallel role.

Skills & experience adding value:

• Strong skillset in JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js (additional experience with ASP.NET, C# and Razor are a plus)
• Experience working within a source control environment (e.g. GIT)
• Proven experience developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites to meet client specifications
• Experience working with a variety of APIs and integrations
• AI prompt engineering
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation related to website design and maintenance
• Strong understanding of SEO principles
• Previous firm/agency experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
