Duties

• Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock and maintaining organized storage areas
• Load and unload shipments efficiently with equipment such as pallet jacks ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Stock shelves with frozen food and dairy products, ensuring proper placement for easy customer access and optimal product rotation
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and promote sales through knowledgeable recommendations
• Conduct regular cleaning, maintenance, and merchandising tasks to uphold store standards and product presentation

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of grocery store operations including stocking, packaging, shipping & receiving, and merchandising
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing; comfortable working in cold environments typical of frozen food sections
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure cleanliness of work areas to meet health standards
