FT Career Nanny Needed in Highland Park

Children: One Child- Girl 8 years

Compensation: $35-$40 + Overtime

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a-7:00p (10a-3p open if preferred) Saturday: 8:00a-6:00p

A warm, respectful family is seeking an experienced, highly dependable career nanny to become an integral part of their family's support system. The mother travels regularly for work and maintains a dedicated home office separate from the family's primary living spaces, allowing the nanny autonomy and ownership of the daily childcare routine.

Typical Schedule

Morning Routine

• Prepare breakfast and assist with the morning routine
• Help child get dressed and ready for school
• Ensure school belongings are organized and prepared for the day
• School drop-off

Midday

• Flexible personal time while child is at school (approximately 10:00 AM–3:00 PM) if preferred
• Child-related responsibilities as needed, including meal preparation, children's laundry, organization, and maintaining children's spaces

Afternoon & Evening

• School pick-up at approximately 3:00 PM
• Provide a warm and engaging after-school environment
• Assist with homework and school projects as needed
• Responsible for transportation to activities when applicable
• Prepare dinner for the child
• Oversee bath and bedtime routines (typically concluding between 6:30–7:00 PM)
• Create a calm, nurturing end to each day

Saturdays

Saturdays are designed to be fun, engaging, and enriching. The nanny is encouraged to plan outings, activities, and adventures that promote creativity, learning, and exploration. A family credit card is provided for approved admissions, activities, meals, and childcare-related expenses.
