Full-Time Nanny Manager – River North, Chicago

A warm and welcoming River North family is seeking an experienced, energetic, and nurturing Full-Time Nanny Manager to care for their infant (2 months old) and support household organization. This is a long-term role for a professional nanny who is upbeat, communicative, and excited to become a trusted part of the family.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Pay: $25–$30/hour, DOE
  • Benefits: PTO offered
  • Start Date: March 1 or earlier
  • Flexibility: Occasional evening or weekend hours may be requested

Household Details
  • One infant (2 months old)
  • Parents work from home in separate office spaces
  • One parent travels for work about once per month
    • Bonus if nanny is open to occasional domestic travel (not required)
  • Family employs a housekeeper — no deep cleaning required

The ideal nanny is warm, friendly, energetic, and adaptable, with strong infant experience and excellent communication skills. This family is looking for a nanny who is professional yet flexible, follows routines, and enjoys growing with a family over time.

Responsibilities
Infant & Childcare
  • Loving, attentive care for an infant
  • Bottle preparation and feeding
  • Diapering and daily infant care
  • Age-appropriate play and developmental activities
  • Establishing and maintaining routines and schedules
As Child Grows
  • Taking child on walks and outings
  • Planning playdates
  • Supporting developmental milestones
  • Assisting with food introductions and child meal prep
Nanny Manager / Household Support
  • Organize and maintain child-related spaces
  • Keep inventory of child supplies and anticipate needs
  • Child’s laundry and family laundry
  • Light tidying of common areas
  • Occasional light meal prep for the family

Qualifications
  • Infant and toddler care experience required
  • Clean, safe driving record; must be able to use own vehicle for work-related driving
  • Outgoing, communicative, and reliable
  • Background in education or child development is a plus

Requirements
  • Current CPR certification
  • Up-to-date Flu and Tdap vaccines
