Full-Time Nanny – Financial District, NYC

Location: Financial District, New York, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM (with occasional flexibility requested)
Compensation: $27–$31 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays, and PTO

About the Family

Warm, first-time parents in the Financial District are seeking a loving, experienced full-time nanny for their 4-month-old baby girl. This is a long-term position with a family who deeply values partnership, communication, and creating a calm, nurturing home environment.

They are looking for someone confident with infants, attentive to developmental milestones, and genuinely joyful in caring for a baby during this special first year of life.

Responsibilities

Primary focus will be full care of the infant, including:

• Feeding (bottles now, solids when developmentally appropriate)
• Diapering, dressing, and maintaining baby’s hygiene
• Supporting naps and maintaining a consistent routine
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental play
• Tummy time, reading, singing, sensory activities, and outdoor walks
• Monitoring milestones and communicating observations to parents
• Keeping baby’s items clean and organized (bottles, pump parts, toys, nursery area)

Light housekeeping related to the baby while she naps, including:

• Washing and sanitizing bottles
• Baby laundry
• Tidying nursery and play areas
• Light housekeeping as time permits

The nanny will be an important extension of the parents — someone who is proactive, attentive, and thoughtful.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of childcare experience
• Significant infant experience (newborn through first year preferred)
• Excellent references
• Fluent English required
• Warm, reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working in a city apartment setting
