Full-Time Nanny Needed – Tribeca, NYC

Location: Tribeca, Manhattan
Schedule: Full-time 8 am - 5 pm or 6 pm
Children: 3 years old and 11 months old
Compensation: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience - Paid via payroll service

About the Family

A thoughtful and warm family in Tribeca is seeking an experienced, engaging nanny to care for their two young children, ages 3 years and 11 months.

The 11-month-old is home during the day, while the 3-year-old attends a half-day program. The family is very focused on high-quality, attentive childcare, with an emphasis on safety, developmental growth, and meaningful engagement.

They would especially value a nanny with a background in education or strong knowledge of early childhood development who can help create a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children.

Responsibilities

Childcare

• Providing attentive care for both children, with primary daytime focus on the 11-month-old
• Engaging the baby in age-appropriate developmental activities that support cognitive, motor, and social development
• Monitoring feeding and sleep schedules and logging activities for parents
• Helping support the 3-year-old’s routines before and after their school program
• Getting the children out to local parks, playgrounds, and neighborhood activities when weather permits
• Encouraging curiosity, learning, and exploration through play
• Maintaining a calm, safe, and structured environment

Child-Related Household Support

• Keeping children’s areas tidy and organized
• Children’s laundry
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
• Helping maintain a smooth daily routine for the household

Requirements

• Several years of professional childcare experience
• Background in education, early childhood development, or similar field strongly preferred
• Excellent references from previous families
• Warm, engaging, and attentive personality
• Strong awareness of child safety and developmental needs
• Reliable, organized, and communicative

Compensation & Benefits

• $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience - Paid via payroll service as W2
