Full-Time Nanny Manager – Lincoln Park, ChicagoStart Date: April or May 2026
Compensation: $30–$35/hour DOE + PTO offered
A busy and warm Lincoln Park family is seeking a proactive, highly communicative Nanny Manager to support their two children and household. The family has a 5-year-old in full-time school and a 1-year-old who attends school three days per week. This role is ideal for a confident, organized caregiver who can anticipate family needs, engage children at age-appropriate levels, and step into household support seamlessly.
Both children’s schools are within walking distance of the family’s home. The nanny must have a clean and safe driving record and use their own vehicle for work-related driving (parking space provided).
Schedule-
Monday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Will be off either Tuesday or Friday each week, to be confirmed in advance)

Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM (baby home)

Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM (baby home)

Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Will be off either Tuesday or Friday each week, to be confirmed in advance)

Sunday: 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM
The nanny will have either Tuesday or Friday off each week and will know the schedule weeks in advance.
Childcare Responsibilities-
School and camp drop-off and pick-up (older child attends camps during the summer)

Engaging, age-appropriate activities for both children

Structuring enriching activities for the 5-year-old

Nurturing and engaging the 1-year-old

Coordinating with parents on evening routines- Supporting bedtime transitions during later shifts or tidying up while parents do bedtime routine.
Household Management Duties-
Children’s laundry

Light housekeeping and daily tidying

Meal prep and cooking simple family meals

Running errands (grocery pick-up/orders, dry cleaning, etc.)

Organizing closets and children’s spaces

Keeping inventory of essentials and anticipating household needs

Kitchen tidy-up after meal preparation
Additional Details-
Friendly family cat in the home (must be comfortable with cats)

Light pet care appreciated but not required

Parents work from home some days
