F/T On-Site Logistics Dispatcher

Join our dynamic team as an On Site Dispatcher, where you'll play a vital role in coordinating transportation operations and ensuring seamless communication across our logistics network. This energetic position offers the opportunity to manage dispatching activities, optimize freight movements, and support efficiency through use of the transportation management system and real-time GPS tracking. Your proactive approach and exceptional communication skills will help keep our operations running smoothly, delivering outstanding service for our customers. Pay is weekly direct deposit, with one week held back.

Duties

• Oversee dedicated and fill in drivers, and explain duties to them as required.
• Utilize transportation management system to dispatch, schedule pickups, optimize routes, and monitor drivers locations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Enter accurate data into logistics software to track deliveries and returns.
• Manage delivery and return documentation as needed.
• Assist with moving parts around between routes as needed.

Experience

• Experience being a delivery driver in logistics.
• Experience with auto parts a plus.
• Experience with dispatching in a logistics or transportation environment a plus.
• Warehouse experience a plus.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems a plus.
• Understanding of GPS tracking, GIS applications, and/or transportation planning tools a plus.
• Knowledge of freight operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
