FTTH Fiber Technician

1. Position: Fiber Technician (FTTH Splicer)

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, and maintain fiber optic cables for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) connections.
• Perform OTDR testing, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
• Ensure proper fiber splicing techniques and maintain cable integrity.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve connectivity issues and provide timely services to customers.
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure network stability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate reports of daily tasks and fiber optic infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Fiber Optics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in FTTH splicing and installation (Fresh candidates with relevant knowledge are also encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of OTDR, VFL, and other fiber optic tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary Range: Competitive and based on experience.

2. Position: Fiber Optic Helper

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Fiber Technician in the installation, splicing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables.
• Supported handling tools, equipment, and materials during FTTH deployments.
• Perform basic tasks like cable preparation, pulling, and labeling.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the worksite.
• Follow safety protocols and company standards during operations.

Requirements:

• Matriculation or equivalent education.
• Basic understanding of fiber optics or willingness to learn.
• Hardworking, punctual, and physically fit for fieldwork.
• Prior experience in a similar role will be a plus but not mandatory.
