The Petroleum Operations Dispatcher is responsible for the daily communication and route planning of gasoline/diesel products for drivers and customers. Using dispatch software and monitoring systems, this position makes impactful decisions that lead to the success of product delivery, driver satisfaction and customer service success. The right hire will be a strong customer focused communicator that is energetic and possesses the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the Dispatch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes, schedules and ensures execution of driver’s schedule with workload demands while adhering to DOT hours of service regulations.
• Communicates expectations, changes, or challenges with drivers, management, and customers quickly and professionally. Works closely with dispatch manager and others to make sound business decisions that involve pricing, deliveries and efficient route.
• Serve as a central line of communication for drivers and other members of the team to ensure all needs, questions and concerns are addressed.
• Come to work with a team player mindset ready to tackle each day with success!
• Dispatch software and transportation dispatch experience a plus!

Requirements

• Must be able to sit for long periods
• Must be able to operate a computer efficiently for long periods
• Must be able to lift at least 20+ pounds
• Must have solid oral and written communication
