Job Overview

Join our team as a Fuel / Gas Tanker Driver in a local, home‑daily role delivering gasoline in the Tampa area. This position is ideal for experienced fuel haulers looking for consistent, structured work in a professional operation.

Important: This is a 1099 independent contractor position and requires previous fuel hauling experience.

In this role, your focus is simple and specialized: safely transporting and dropping gasoline using tanker equipment. There is no loading/unloading of general freight—only professional fuel delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate tanker trucks for gasoline delivery
• Complete fuel drops at assigned locations following all safety and DOT regulations
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (hoses, valves, gauges, safety equipment)
• Run local, route‑based deliveries with a consistent schedule
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and inspection records
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and team members
• Keep equipment clean and report any maintenance issues

What We’re Looking For (Read Carefully)

• Valid CDL‑A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements REQUIRED
• ✅ Previous fuel hauling experience REQUIRED (not entry‑level)
• Strong safety mindset and clean driving record
• Experience working with fuel racks preferred (rack cards a strong plus)
• Comfortable with structured routes and consistent procedures
• Reliable, professional, and responsive
• Able to communicate clearly and work within a split‑seat operation

Compensation & Structure

• 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Paid 27% of each completed load
• Paid Training provided

Schedule

• 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 5 days per week
• Days off: Thursday & Friday
• Local work – home daily
