Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D schematics and 3D models of fuel system components using CAD software such as On-Shape.
- Create accurate system layouts and assembly drawings for fuel tanks, pumps, valves, and related components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret technical specifications and translate them into comprehensive CAD models and schematics.
- Utilize drafting best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards for construction and manufacturing.
- Assist in the review and revision of design documents using Bluebeam and MicroStation to ensure precision before final approval.
- Support project teams by providing visualizations through 2D animation or graphic design tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
- Maintain organized CAD files, version control, and documentation to streamline project workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Rhino3D (3ds <PERSON>), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of schematic design, mechanical design principles, and construction documentation processes.
- Familiarity with fuel system components such as tanks, pumps, valves, and associated piping layouts.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
- Experience with drafting for industrial or mechanical systems within a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Skills in graphic design or 2D animation are a plus for creating compelling visual presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
