Tri Star Transport, LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Fuel/Asphalt Transport Driver to join our team in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting fuel and asphalt while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Pay Structure: Pay is by the load, with weekly earnings averaging around $1,300 to $1400 (not guaranteed), reflective of the average driver’s pay for fuel/asphalt transport in the Memphis area.

Duties:

• Safely operate a tanker for transportation of fuel and asphalt.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Navigate assigned routes while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs on ELD.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must have a TWIC card
• Proven experience as a fuel transport driver is preferred.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and fuel transport regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Must pass the required background checks as per company policy.
